The very best of Simmental and Angus genetics combined into one. The two
breeds compliment each other very well. You receive the benefits that
both breeds offer - carcass quality, calving ease, easy keep and
fertility combined with extra growth, feed efficiency and maternal
traits. They will produce higher yielding carcass with less fat, reducing
wasteful carcass trimming. In addition, obtain the benefits of higher
fertility and more sex drive, longevity and high performance.
HOW BEST TO USE THEM
Using hybred sires of superior genetics is what the pork and poultry
industry are doing to reach higher records of production and customer
satisfaction. Cattlemen are seeing the same results by using Optimizer
bulls. Use them with confidence just like you do purebred sires,
superior genetics have been stacked in from both sides of their pedigree
for generations. (We use only registered Simmental sires and registered
Angus dams to assure that the mongrelization that could result from non
pedigreed parentage does not happen). These cattle work great on English
and English Continental cross cows to keep the percentage of English
genetics at 1/2 or more, maintaining and improving their superior
carcass quality, easy fleshing ability and reproductive efficiency. The
Simmental influence will increase their growth, muscle, feed efficiency
and yield grade. Yet leaving the opportunity to retain replacement
heifers with better maternal traits. They will still fit your
environment. If your cows are 1/2 and 3/4 blood continental and you want
to maintain that level you can by using Optimizers. The calves will be
even better because of the superior genetics bred into our Optimizer
bulls.
